Terrific Kids
The Salt Lake Kiwanis Club has partnered with the middle schools in the Salt Lake District to sponsor the Terrific Kid Program.  This program is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance.  The acronym for Terrific Kid is:

          T houghtful – Considering the feelings or needs of others

          E nthusiastic – Demonstrating feelings of excitement and interest

          R espectful – Considerate, polite, and courteous

          R esponsible – Dependable and can be trusted

          I nclusive – Everyone is welcome

          F riendly – Kind and helpful

          I nquisitive – Questioning and curious – eager to learn

          C apable – Able to do a task or a job
